CHANGE
Terms And Conditions to change are fees for transferring or changing reservations for cars, SUVs, limousines, vans, mini bus and motor coaches. The terms and conditions required minimum amount of time before the planned pick-up time. The base rate/hourly rate modifications, fuel, STC, gratuity, and any relevant airport fees are all included in these expenses. The lower of the two amounts applies if the overall cost of the reservation would have been lower. The late cancellation or modification cost for hourly reservations is determined by multiplying the base rate by the hourly minimum*.
CANCELLATION
If changes or cancellations are made to transfer reservations for sedans and MPVs in any of the following non-US, Canadian, or Puerto Rican countries, they must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled pick-up time, or else they will be charged the base transfer rate plus local VAT, if applicable. The hourly minimum + any relevant local VAT is the amount that constitutes the modification cost or late cancellation fee for hourly reservations.
NO-SHOW POLICY
Should you be unable to find your driver, please give the number shown in your email confirmation by the Service Provider a call. Chauffeurs Lane will charge you a no-show fee if you leave the pick-up spot without telling them.
* Valid for any bookings made inside the local city’s metropolitan area. Within 75 miles of the city center, any location is deemed to be a part of the local city metropolitan region. The amount of time it takes to go to and from the GARAGE-TO-GARAGE location will affect how much services outside of the local city metropolitan region cost.
Note: The information on special event change and cancellation policies included in your email confirmation takes precedence over standard change and cancellation restrictions.
GARAGE-TO-GARAGE CALCULATIONS
The applicable hourly rate is applied to the garage-to-garage charges, starting from the moment the chauffeur leaves the garage to start service and continuing until the chauffeur ends the service and returns to the garage. The estimate includes the minimum number of billable hours, but the actual number of billable hours may be higher. There will also be a kilometer charge for services provided in Europe.
WAIT TIME – AIRPORT TRANSFER
For commercial flights, there is no wait time fee unless passengers decide not to proceed to the designated meeting point for themselves and the chauffeur. Customers are allowed to wait for twenty (20) minutes following the scheduled pickup time in such cases. If the wait time exceeds twenty (20) minutes, fees will apply, which are calculated as the hourly rate prorated into fifteen (15) minute intervals and the transfer base rate.
WAIT TIME – POINT-TO-POINT TRANSFER
Twenty (20) minutes of waiting time is allowed for customers following the scheduled pickup time. If you have to wait longer than twenty (20) minutes, you will be charged the hourly charge plus the transfer base rate, prorated every fifteen (15) minutes.
EXTRA STOPS
Customers using transfer reservations are only permitted to make one stop along the route, lasting no more than fifteen (15) minutes. The customer will be charged the transfer base rate plus the hourly rate for the vehicle in fifteen (15) minute increments up to forty-five (45) minutes (rounded up) for the time the chauffeur waits if the stop lasts longer than fifteen (15) minutes. The trip will switch to an hourly rate if there are multiple stops or if a single stop lasts longer than thirty (30) minutes.
SURFACE TRANSPORTATION CHARGE (STC)
STC is an additional fee that is determined by a number of overhead items, some of which might not be associated with the particular trip. As a fixed percentage of the base rate, the STC is always computed.
INCIDENTALS
The following are examples of incidentals: meals and hotel accommodations for the chauffeur, greeter fees, parking, port fees, special requests, and tolls.
FUEL SURCHARGE
The Fuel Surcharge for sedan, limousine, and SUV services in the US and Canada is determined using fuel pricing forecasts that are published by the Energy Information Agency (EIA). Depending on the forecast that is in force at the time services are rendered, the quoted amount and the billed amount may vary. Specialty vehicles, such as vans, minibuses, and motor coaches, will have different fuel surcharges.
ESTIMATED INCLUSIVE QUOTE
Prior to service, rates are only an estimate of the total cost of the reserved services. The final price may vary depending on wait times and/or extra services.
EXCHANGE RATE
The exchange rate in force at the time of booking is the basis for any quoted rate. The exchange rate in force at the time of billing will be used to calculate the final bill.
AIRPORT TRANSFER
The fee for transportation services between an FBO or commercial airport and a designated destination.
HOURLY CHARGE
The fee for “As-Directed” service, which usually entails several stops and involves an itinerary or the driver following the customer’s instructions.
POINT-TO-POINT TRANSFER
The fee for a prearranged transfer from the most popular routes in each market, not to be confused with the previously mentioned airport transfers.
BASE RATE
The price for basic transportation services before taxes, gratuities, fuel surcharges, airport or international arrival fees, incidentals, and/or service charges are applied.
CHILD SAFETY SEATS
Chauffeurs Lane does not provide child safety or booster seats due to safety concerns about providing equipment that is age- and weight-appropriate. Customers are able to supply and install their own booster or child safety seats, though.
SAFETY BELTS
Passengers using Chauffeurs Lane must abide by all applicable local laws and rules regarding the use of safety belts and other equipment.
INSURANCE
Every Chauffeurs Lane service comes with auto liability insurance. It is purchased in the market where the service is provided and will offer coverage that exceeds the minimum amount allowed by law in that market.
CHAUFFEUR CONDUCT
Chauffeurs Lane has a zero-tolerance policy regarding the use of drugs and alcohol. In order to promote the health and safety of all of our customers and employees, we are dedicated to making sure that our services and workplace are free from the effects of drugs and alcohol.

PETS AND SERVICE ANIMALS
Pets can only be moved in kennels or pet containers with soft sides. Should the animal result in damage to the car, there might be a damage and/or cleaning fee. It is not necessary for service animals carried by passengers with disabilities to be kept in kennels or soft-sided pet containers during travel.
ACCESSIBILITY
A service animal may travel in any Chauffeurs Lane vehicle with a hearing-impaired person, a person who is blind or partially blind, or a person who is physically disabled. There is no additional fee for the service animal.

IN-VEHICLE COMPLIMENTARY WIFI Terms And Conditions
Many cars in the Chauffeurs Lane fleet provide free in-car WiFi for passengers. Whether connecting to the Internet via wired or wireless technology, users of the free in-vehicle Wi-Fi acknowledge and agree that there are substantial security, privacy, and confidentiality risks associated with accessing or transmitting information via the Internet. These security risks include data loss, viruses, and other programs that can harm your device or network, as well as transmission interception.
Therefore, EVERY PASSENGER AGREES THAT Chauffeurs Lane LLC., ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, PARENTS, OWNERS, INVESTORS, AND INSURERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY TRANSMISSION INTERCEPTION, DATA LOSS, FILE CORRUPTION, HACKING, OR DAMAGE TO YOUR COMPUTER OR NETWORK THAT RESULTS FROM THE TRANSMISSION OR DOWNLOAD OF INFORMATION OR MATERIALS THROUGH THE SERVICE.

Mobile Application License Terms And Conditions
Subject to your adherence to these Terms of Use, Chauffeurs Lane grants you a limited non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and install a copy of the Mobile App on a single mobile device under your ownership or control, and to operate it solely for your use. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
(i) You shall not license, sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, distribute, or otherwise commercially exploit the Mobile Apps or Services operated and published by Chauffeurs Lane. (ii) You shall not modify or create derivative works based upon the Mobile Apps. (iii) You shall not create Internet “links” to the Web Site or “frame” or “mirror” the Mobile Apps on any other server or wireless or Internet-based device. (iv) Reverse engineering or accessing the Mobile Apps is prohibited. Chauffeurs Lane is not liable for any errors by the Payment Processor. Chauffeurs Lane will only send you SMS notifications if necessary to give you important information about the Service (as previously mentioned). These notifications will be sent in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, including the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 and the US Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991.
You will need to enter your mobile phone number on the account settings page of your passenger profile in order to subscribe. Please be aware that each passenger profile may currently only have one registered mobile number.
Next, as part of the Service, you will be able to choose which text message notifications you want to receive.
HOW TO OPT-IN FOR ALERTS
Unless you specify otherwise, using any Chauffeurs Lane service gives Chauffeurs Lane permission to send Chauffeurs Lane Alerts to your mobile phone or device via SMS.
STOP – HOW TO OPT-OUT OR END THE SUBSCRIPTION
You can choose to stop receiving Chauffeurs Lane Alerts at any time by using your phone to reply with the word STOP to any SMS message you receive.
