Why Atlanta law firms choose Chauffeurs Lane
Eight commitments we make to the firm.
The same commitments year after year. The reason existing AmLaw clients keep their account active is consistency — not the fleet, not the price, not the technology. The chauffeur shows up.
- NDA-signed W-2 chauffeurs — not gig drivers passing through the platform.
- Pre-staging on known court days, depo days, and trial weeks — chauffeur waits before you call.
- Surge-proof rates — quoted rate holds through Masters, FIFA 2026, SEC Championship, weather events.
- Dedicated dispatch line for legal operations and executive assistants — not a consumer queue.
- 60-minute complimentary wait on ATL arrivals; 30 minutes on private aviation; 15 minutes on hourly stops.
- Discretion baked in — no logos on vehicles, no shared rides, tinted rear glass on the SUV fleet.
- Same chauffeur on recurring runs where scheduling allows — consistency matters in litigation.
- 24/7 dispatch — not voicemail after 6pm.
FAQ
What legal-ops asks first.
How do you handle confidentiality for ongoing litigation?
Every Chauffeurs Lane chauffeur signs a standard NDA at hire. For active litigation or M&A engagements that require enhanced confidentiality, we add a matter-specific NDA on top, executed by the assigned chauffeur(s) for that engagement. We also support compartmentalized booking (booker visible only to the assigned dispatcher) on request.
Can we set up matter-number capture on every booking?
Yes. Corporate accounts can require a matter number, client number, or both at booking. We default the field to required for AmLaw firms so receipts auto-tag for billable-time capture and chargeback. Dispatch will reject bookings that arrive without a matter number if the account is configured that way.
What's the deal-team day rate?
An hourly day rate (4-hour minimum) holds a Mercedes E-Class, S-Class, or Cadillac Escalade ESV for the deal team for the day. The chauffeur stays with the team through every stop — no re-dispatch, no waiting for a new vehicle. Typical M&A signings run 6–10 hours; some IPO roadshows run 12–14 hours over a single day across multiple firms.
Do you handle witness or visiting-expert travel where the witness is sensitive about being identified?
Yes. Sensitive-witness travel uses our most discreet chauffeurs (multi-year veterans with the firm's prior approval where required), unmarked vehicles, indirect routing where the team requires it, and locked dispatch records (no visibility outside the assigned dispatcher). We have run this profile for AmLaw firms, regulatory matters, and high-profile defense work.
Are you licensed for federal courthouse access?
Chauffeurs Lane vehicles are not federal-marshal-cleared, but they routinely operate in the loading / drop-off zones at the U.S. Courthouse on Atlanta's downtown Spring Street and at the Newnan division. For inside-perimeter requirements during high-profile trials, we coordinate with the firm's security team to use the cleared route the marshals designate.
What's your no-show policy on early morning depo / court days?
We have a 0-no-show policy on legal accounts — tracked publicly to each account on the monthly statement. If a chauffeur fails to arrive at the booked time, the trip is no-charge AND we credit one round-trip equivalent on the next invoice. This policy is in the corporate agreement and we have not invoked it more than a handful of times in firm history.
